[Review+Swatch] Julep Maven May 2014 Bombshell Box

Hi!♥ I haven't been taking my Julep Maven boxes, so I decided get this month's. I was drawn to the lively colors and these didn't disappoint.

The contents of my box! Two polishes and their new PliĆ© wand, as well as two caps to go along with the wand.

I'm honestly not that interested in the PliĆ© wand. I'm pretty comfortable with polishing my nails, so I feel the wand would just feel weird. Haha, maybe I should at least give it a try, but it's seems like too much of a hassle. So if anyone else wants it, let me know! You can have it free - just pay shipping. ;)

Laree, 3 coats: warm, bright pink creme with fine golden-orange shimmer. As with most Julep polishes, I found the formula a bit thick for my liking. With that said, it was still workable and applied fairly well. I still ended up adding thinner to it after - just my preference.

Saaya, 3 coats: peachy orange creme with fine golden-orange shimmer. This one was a tad thicker than Laree, but still applied okay. I added thinner to this as well later to match the consistency I prefer.

Verdict: Overall, I'm pretty happy with the colors in my box this month! Both colors are really pretty and perfect for spring/summer.
