[Nail Art] Neon Starburst with BPS Studs

Hi guys! I haven't done a nail art post in a long while, so this post is going to fix that. :]

For today's nail art, I started off with 2 coats of Zoya Taylor* as my nude creme base. Using the shortest liner from this brush set*, I drew quick strokes of color is neon nail polish. I used Orly Oh Cabana Boy (pink) and Urban Outfitters Jerk (yellow). To finish off the look, I added neon yellow star studs* and a pink glitter sticker to my accent nails. So simple and cute! I think this look only took 5 minutes tops, so it's perfect for nail art beginners.

I found the liner, studs, and stickers all very easy to use. The star studs play well with top coat - no bleeding or fading color here. You can also reuse them by gently prying them off your nail. However, I don't think this neon one will hold up to acetone very well. While the pink star sticker isn't reusable, it is easily removed with acetone. I recommend using it on dry nail polish for best results. Be sure to press all the edges and points down very well. Otherwise, you may get some air bubbles when you apply your top coat. Both the studs and stickers wear well with top coat without any lifting or snagging.

You can find all these nail art products at bornprettystore.com*. Be sure to use my coupon code F10X31 to receive 10% off your order. :)

I wore this nail art with my favorite neon-yellow sweater from Forever 21. It's big, soft, and comfy - everything I like in a sweater. :]

Bonus pic with food! Because we like those, right? I've been eating more healthily, but also picked up baking as hobby recently. -_- So this whole wheat peanut butter and jelly muffin is the product of a...sweet compromise. Haha. ^^;;

Well, that's it for today!

♥ Liz
